Where do you feel at home?
Perhaps feeling at home is a state of being where you accept and fully express yourself, ultimately connecting with yourself and then connecting with others or beyond. It comes from knowing yourself.
What was your dream job when you were little?
After completing my schooling, I made the decision to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a lawyer. I enrolled at Yerevan State University, Faculty of Law. However, during my studies, I came to realize that my true passion lay in opera.
What is your educational background?
At Yerevan State Conservatory, I dedicated myself to rigorous study, honing my skills and deepening my understanding of opera. Subsequently, I took the next significant step in my journey by pursuing further education at the Royal Academy of Music in London. It was there that I acquired the necessary knowledge and invaluable experience to propel me forward in my pursuit of excellence in opera.
What do you like doing besides theatre?
During my studies in London, while living alone, I discovered a hidden talent for cooking. I found that I excelled in the kitchen, not only for myself but also for my friends. Gradually, I honed my culinary skills, and cooking became a source of relaxation and rejuvenation after long, hard days.
In addition to cooking, some years ago, when I met my future wife, I found inspiration to write songs dedicated to her. She serves as a constant muse, inspiring me to develop my professional skills and set new, higher goals in my career.
What do you dream of now?
What I have now is once what I dreamed of. I believe it is crucial to have dreams and set goals because they help focus attention on what truly matters. My current dream is to achieve significant success in Wiesbaden. I aim to continue growing, learning, and seeking meaningful ways to make a positive impact on the world around me.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I have a deep appreciation for the staging process, as it allows me to immerse myself in the creative journey of bringing characters and stories to life on the stage. The collaborative nature of the process, where ideas are exchanged and artistic visions are realized, is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling for me. It's during this process that I feel most alive and inspired, as each rehearsal and performance brings new layers of depth and meaning to the work.
